Walking with Abby

Tuesday November 25, Abby and I went for a walk after I picked her up from school. Bridget had a singing concert at 2:00, so we walked around until then. Abby pretended that she was a teacher and we were going on a field trip. We were in a forest and there were lions all around us. Abby kept pointing out interesting things we saw.Abby said that this part of the sidewalk looked like an acorn top.

She thought this tree looked like a mommy with a baby in her tummy.

These were boots.

It was pajama day at her school, hence the Hannah Montana nightgown.

This hose was witch hair.

Hullabaloo

Abby got this game for her birthday. The girls had a blast and played it for hours.

Moving up, but not moving on

Ryan called me yesterday and asked me if I had checked my e-mail. I said "no. Did you send me something?" He says "yes", and I hang up to go check my email. As I was checking I wondered why he did not just tell me what it was instead of emailing me. (we do not usually communicate through email). Well it took awhile for me to get the message and when I finally read it I was on the phone with him anyway. The email was from the main Office of the University Student apartments, where we live. We had finally decided about 2 weeks ago to get on the waiting list for a three bedroom apartment. Right now we live in a two bedroom and with three kids it is a little tight. The email said that we had already been assigned an apartment. We can start moving in on Monday and have to be out of our current apartment by the following Sunday. I was totally shocked that it happened so quickly. I thought it would take at least until the new year. I am excited to have more space, but I am also sad to be leaving the court that we have lived in for our whole married life. The new apartment is also in a different ward. It is not far away at all. the kids will go to the same school and everything will pretty much be the same. I think that maybe one of the things that is bothering me is that I always thought that when we moved from this apartment it would mean Ryan was done with school and we would be off to a new place and a new adventure. I guess I still have to be patient. I am also a little anxious because I look around the house and just don't know where to start in packing. This has all happened so fast . I thought I would have more time to plan it out. (but I am not much of a planner anyway). Well these are my thoughts on moving.

Abby's Party

We played outside

we played inside and had some food
we played pin the tail on the donkey
we hit the pinata
we gathered the candy
we posed for a picture
we had cake and ice cream
This is my great nephew collin
this is Ryan's sister Tiffany and my niece Samantha
Aren't they a cute couple
That is what one of the older girls said when she saw these two babies. Collin is about a month older than Samantha. As you can see the party was fun. We seem to throw the same party every year, but no one seems to mind.

Ten Years, Can You Believe It

Anna And Ryan at Breakfast

Today is our ten year anniversary. Ryan took me to breakfast at The Belgian Waffle and Omelet Inn. Anna came, but the other girls were in school. On the way home he bought me some flowers. He also gave me some books that I wanted. I am so grateful that Ryan agreed to marry me. Being married is so much fun. We always have so much fun together.

I remember that day ten years ago. It was a beautiful fall day. It had snowed about a week before, but the day of the wedding was so beautiful and sunny. The fall leaves were beautiful. I am surprised that I even remember the leaves. I couldn't take my eyes off of my handsome husband. I guess that is why pictures are so important. I remember thinking that I should feel nervous and scared, but I was way too excited to feel scared. We were married in the Salt Lake Temple. As we left the Temple I was so filled with joy and love. Today I feel the same way only ten times stronger, as I look at my wonderful husband and our sweet children. The last ten years have been awesome. I can't wait to see what the next ten years hold for us.

Happy Birthday Abby

My darling little Abby is five today.she was so excited about her birthday. yesterday we went shopping for things for her birthday party. She begged me to buy her a cheesy toy tiara. she wore it all day because she was the birthday girl. She got a Fisher Price digital camera. she is so excited about taking her own pictures. She is very excited about photography. She said she had a good birthday except for when a little boy in her class threw a soccer ball at her. We took her to dinner at Red Robin. We all had a fun time. The server told Ryan that Red Robin is a good place to go with the guys. He does not go many places with the guys, just us girls, but he doesn't seem to mind.

Look Mom No Teeth

Bridget lost her fourth tooth yesterday. She loves to smile with her tongue coming through her teeth, so it is hard to see the gap.
