Thanksgiving 2010

I didn't get any pictures of thanksgiving this year but we had fun. This was our first thanksgiving away from our families. We planned to have to make our own dinner and eat it at our house, Then some ward members invited us to join their family. So we joined the Pennington family this year. The kids had so much fun. there were so many kids to play with. It was so nice to be included.
I had a chance to make my first turkey on Saturday. It turned out pretty good.

Lunch with Abigail and Bridget

On November 12. 2010 The school let parents come eat thanksgiving lunch
With the kids. I was late and so I only saw Abby for a few minutes before she had to go back to class. She was very sad, but I was able to eat with Bridget.

November 12, was also our Wedding Anniversary. We have been married for twelve
years now. We went out to dinner that night. We still don't know anyone to ask to
babysit for us so we took all the kids. It was fun.

Happy Birthday Abigail

Abby turned 7 on November 11. We didn't have a 7 candle so
we used a five and 2 ones. She wanted a chocolate cake with strawberry
frosting. It was delicious

Abby bought this outfit and the beanbag chair with her birthday
money from Grandma and Grandpa Paulsen

She got this outfit and the bedspread from us.

We also gave her this rug and curtains to decorate her new room.

Happy Birthday my sweet Abby!

Timpanogos Caves

On September 11, Ryan took Bridget and Abby on a
hike to Timpanogos caves for a daddy daughter date.
They came home pretty tired, but they said they had fun.
I stayed home with Anna David,
so I don't have much to say about this.

Bridget's Birthday

Bridget turned 10 on October 13,
She had this party on September 24, with 4 of her
best friends who live in the University village.

She wanted to have a party before we moved

Kaise, Abby, Susannah, Abigail, and Bridget

Bridget and her friends had fun playing with the gifts.

This was a very busy time for us. 3 days later we packed up our entire
apartment and loaded it into a moving truck. After this party Abby
decided that she wanted a party before we left. We had one for her on
September 29, after Ryan had already left for Tennessee. I did not get any
pictures of Abby's party. I did not know where the camera was,
it could have been on its way to Tennessee.
I am happy that I had these parties for them now,
but at the time I kept wondering what I was thinking.
On her actual birthday I made her another cake and we took her out to dinner.
this was also when she got presents from us. She got a new outfit that
we gave her before school, so she could wear it .
When she got home I had decorated her room with new bedding , curtains
and a new rug. I thought since she finally had her own room it should look nice.
Abby's actual birthday is next week and we plan to do the same thing for her.

Halloween 2010

We decided to dress up as the characters from the Wizard
Oz. Bridget was the scarecrow, Abby was the good witch,
Anna was Dorothy, David was the cowardly lion, I was the wicked
witch, and Ryan was the Tin man. I ran out of time when it came
to my costume and Ryan's, but the kids looked cute.
On Friday we went to our wards Trunk or treat.

Isn't he a ferocious lion.

She did it!

Anna's favorite part of her costume was the shiny red shoes.

She also liked her Toto.

The kids dressed up again to pass out candy on Halloween.
