Springtime

Abby and her friend were buried in the sand.

I have not posted for a long time

I just wanted to share this video. It is kind of long and there is a foot that keeps finding it's way onto the camera.(Bridget was supposed to be reading, but did not want to be left out) This shows how much Anna likes to dance and she never gets tired. Later we all joined her and danced together until it was time for bed. (what a workout)!

Not to brag or anything but I made the dress Anna is wearing. I made it when Abby was that age, and I am still proud of it.

New Bed

We recently moved Anna to a toddler bed. Her crib was falling apart. She had adjusted well and really loves her bed.

Anna's Birthday Party

What a special birthday girl, she has her very own Coke.

Anna's presents from Grandma and Grandpa Paulsen
The Pig sings "Old MacDonald"

Grandma Steed made her birthday cake.
She is so spoiled having cake and coke on the carpet.

Anna's Birthday

We called Anna "Linus" because she carried this blanket the whole time.

Waiting

On the bus

Last Friday, February 20, was Anna's birthday. We went to the Draper Temple open house. We left a little early so we could go out to dinner first for Anna's birthday. We decided to drive out to draper first and then find a restaurant. When we got there we did not have much time so we went to Ikea and ate in the restaurant. It was not to bad and Anna really liked her macaroni and cheese. She also had a piece of chocolate cake.

Then we went to the Temple. We waited in one room for awhile and then another and then we waited for a bus. Then we finally arrived at the temple. It was very nice. The only other temple open house I have been to was the Jordan River temple when I was five. The things I remember most about it was along line out in the cold, and putting little white slippers over my shoes. We did not do either of these things this time. They had a long tent with heaters to walk through to get to the temple. They also had carpets to walk on so we didn't get the little slippers.

The girls were very good and they had a great time. Abby's favorite room was the Brides dressing room. Bridget's was the one with the big chandalier. We were all pretty tired by the end. It was so nice that they provided cookies and water at the end.
I think Anna had a pretty good time on her birthday.

Friends

I love this picture. These are our friends that come play with us two days a week.

Sick Day

Today I was hoping to sleep in because the girls are out of school.
But that was not to be. I woke up to Anna yelling "Mama" as usual, but it was joined by a strange barking sound. When I was fully awake I realize she must have croup. She is not super sick but she does not sound very good.
I sure am glad I did not have any extra children today.
